Hyderabad Metro Red Line route and stations run across 29.21 kilometers with 27 active elevated stations, making it the most used train track between Miyapur and LB Nagar. More than 250,000 daily riders take this train to skip road jams on National Highway 65. The complete ride takes about 47 to 52 minutes from end to end. Trains run every single day from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, arriving every 3 to 7 minutes during busy hours.

This track links big homes, colleges, hospitals, and busy markets across town. It also connects directly to local rail lines and bus depots. You can switch to the Blue Line at Ameerpet or catch the Green Line at MG Bus Station. Simple walking bridges let you walk straight into local train stops at Bharat Nagar and Malakpet, as well as the main railway hub at Nampally.

Timings, Ticket Prices, and How to Pay

First trains leave Miyapur and LB Nagar at 6:00 AM, and the last trains leave at 11:00 PM every night. During peak work hours, a train pulls in every 3 to 4.5 minutes, while trains run every 6 to 8 minutes in the quiet middle of the day.

Ticket prices start at ₹12 for short trips up to 2 kilometers and go up to ₹75 for the whole run from start to finish. You can buy paper slips with QR codes at ticket windows, or get digital passes on your phone through WhatsApp. Regular riders use plastic smart cards to get a 10% discount on every trip.

Phase 2 Plans: Taking the Line Farther

State transit plans will add fresh tracks to expand the Red Line further out into growing suburbs. The track from Miyapur will stretch 13.4 kilometers out to Patancheru across 10 new stops, while the southern end at LB Nagar will add 7.1 kilometers out to Hayat Nagar across 6 new stops.

A planned 36.8-kilometer airport line will also link LB Nagar and Nagole straight to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. This rapid train expansion brings fast travel options directly to growing work hubs along the Outer Ring Road.

Property Growth: The Prestige Place Hyderabad Near the Metro

Better metro links in South Hyderabad are bringing new homes and offices to the Budvel area along the Outer Ring Road. The Prestige Place Hyderabad is a new 10-acre luxury project by Prestige Estates Projects Ltd on Budvel Main Road, located 2.5 kilometers from the planned Budvel Metro stop.
